In the pulp manufacturing process, oxygen can be used, for example, for delignification, bleaching, ozone production and for increasing the capacity of the chemical recovery boiler or lime kiln. In fact, oxygen is an inseparable part of modern pulp manufacturing. Oxygen is further used in the forest industry for waste water treatment, including odour removal and intensification of the activated sludge process.
In cooperation with its customers, there were made large investments in recent years in the successful development of several unique carbon dioxide applications, to meet the needs of the pulp industry.
