Oxygen therapy at home

For treatment in the home, at hospitals and in ambulances we can offer a lightweight cylinder with integrated valve pressure regulator called LIV (Linde Integrated Valve). It is designed to help healthcare staff work more effectively. There’s no change of regulators, no set up or handling of high filling pressure, and as such, no interruption to patient care. Pressure is precisely released and controlled. And with more flow settings, you can set the treatment exactly to meet patient needs. With the integrated regulator, you get low constant outlet pressure and flow selections precisely to your requirements. A large flow range means a more exact flow can be prescribed to suit the patient need. With the active pressure gauge and clear displays, you always know precisely what’s in the cylinder. LIV cylinders are used for treatment with medical oxygen, medical air and LIVPAN (50/50 mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen).

HemLOX® – Mobile system for liquid oxygen. The HemLOX® system includes a large stationary vessel that Linde Healthcare supplies to the patient's home and replaces regularly with a re-filled vessel. The vessel holds 20 or 30 litres of liquid oxygen, which is equivalent to 80 and 120 one-litre gas cylinders. The stationary vessel is supplemented by small portable lightweight containers/thermoses filled from the home vessel. These can be carried on the shoulders or in a specially adapted rucksack and give the patient very substantial freedom of movement. Linde Healthcare provides several different portable lightweight containers.

Oxysaver 8 är en gassparare som minskar syrgasförbrukningen genom att patienten endast får sin gas vid inandning. Med Oxysaver 8 förlängs användningstiden av den syrgasutrustning som används. Gasspararen bör provas ut individuellt för patientens behov i både vila och vid aktivitet.
Oxysaver 8 doserar syrgas i en bestämd volym, men kan även reglera mängden syrgas beroende på fysisk aktivitet. Genom att använda Oxysaver 8 kan man få gasen att räcka flera gånger längre och nyttjandetiden för användaren ökar.
Oxysaver 8 kan kopplas både till syrgasflaskor och bärbar termos Stroller för flytande syrgas (till Stroller behövs en särskild slangkoppling som beställs genom kontakt med Linde Healthcares terapispecilaister. Se mer information under rubrik Information om Lindes uppstartsservice.)

The oxygen concentrator is used for oxygen treatment in the home. It is an alternative or complement to treatment with liquid oxygen or oxygen in a gas cylinder. An oxygen concentrator is an electrical device that separates the oxygen from the ambient air. It is dependent on an electrical power source to work so it is important for the patient to have an alternative source of oxygen in case of power failure.
